We are often drawn to the lastest software, which for an annual subscription and a little time will have our computers running smoothly. Would that we paid as much attention to our marriages. Maybe you feel that computers are prone to viruses and mysterious bugs so they need looking after. Well, may I respectfully comment that so do our marriages.
Marriage Enrichment is a course which aims, in a non confrontational way, to help you debug your marriage and take out unwanted rubbish. It will take a bit of time but the very good news is THERE IS NO ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION.Quidz In
Quidz In gives you the knowledge you need to talk with your children about money from a very early age. Through an informal and practical six-session course, you’ll learn how the world of finance works: everything from budgeting through spending and saving to looking to the future.
You don't need to be a whiz at maths - this is about becoming financially aware, understanding how money works and how to get the best out of it.ImpACT
ImpACT is for young people in school years 6 - 9 who are looking for high ImpACT fun, drama and games based activities for just £1. It is an hour long every Wednesday 6 - 7 p.m. at Market Weighton Community Hall. You won't know unless you try.
The Alpha Course
The course is based around small group hosted by one or two leaders whose role is to facilitate and encourage discussion. Some courses are held over morning coffee or during a lunch hour, most are evening courses, typically lasting 2 hours.The whole course usually lasts for 10 weeks. Each session begins with a meal or refreshments - a chance to get to know others in the small group. There is then a short talk, which looks at a different aspect of the Christian faith each week.This is followed by a time of discussion in the small groups, where everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion, ask questions and discuss with the rest of the group. The emphasis is upon exploration and discovery in a relaxed and informal environment.
Neighbourhood Drop In
